Religion and sin during the holidays...

Harold Meyerson outs right-wing christian conservatives for what they are, the modern day KKK.

Tom Gregory describes what its like to be non-christian in this country on Christmas. While I do celebrate Christmas and look forward to it every year as a day to spend with my family, I see his point and agree with his political opinion of the ridiculous and obscene "House Resolution 847: Recognizing the importance of Christmas and the Christian faith". Short read: They Still Deliver My Mail on Yom Kippur

Have we taken ourselves to seriously? Isn't Christmas supposed to be a time of giving and remembrance? Why does the MSM always dredge up the buzz-killing 'War on Christmas' and the even worse 'persecution of Christians in the US' around this time? Persecution, Christians, and US are three words that combine to create one of the biggest oxymorons of the modern era. Why do the ones making the stink about being persecuted for their Christian beliefs always turn out to be rich white guys? I have no answers. Leave a comment if you do. I'll be trying to not watch TV and enjoy my holiday with some 'extra strong' eggnog. Merry Christmas, and up yours Bill O'Reilly.
